    À propos

Belgian singer-songwriter Milow (real name: Jonathan Vandenbroeck) is a self-made man and one of Europe’s most successful contemporary DIY artists. One of the hardest-working artists in music today, Milow played over 300 shows in 20 different countries in the last 3 years, all while running his own record label and publishing company.

Milow is a gifted storyteller who combines folk with acoustic pop elements. His songs are stunning; from the first listen you will be filled with lasting images which spring from his uniquely personal use of language. His unmistakable voice, fascinating stories and stage presence make him one of the world’s greatest performers.

Milow's breathtaking acoustic cover of 50 Cent's "Ayo Technology," which was released in 2008, stayed on the charts for over 340 weeks in 14 different countries. The video also went viral on YouTube with over 50 million views. Milow followed the immense success of the single by quickly releasing a self-titled studio album. Three years later, he has sold over 650,000 albums and more than 1.15 million singles.

The long-awaited new studio album by Milow will hit the shelves in Europe in April 2011. Titled “North and South,” the album was recorded in Belgium and partially mixed in Los Angeles by two-time Grammy-winner Tony Maserati (Beyonce Knowles, Jason Mraz, Robbie Robertson). The mastering was done in New York City by Dave Kutch (The Roots, Erykah Badu, Outkast). The video for the first single, “You and Me (In My Pocket),” is available to watch now on YouTube.
